When it comes to client's property-it is best to be upfront and polite to our co-workers about missing items. I would approach Suzanne and Juanita with kindess and urgency to find our client's missing property. I would not accuse either of my co-workers of taking them item but insist they help in finding the item and resolving the situation. In my opinion, it is natural for a person to feel accused when approached about a missing item. If Rebecca felt accused, I would assure her that she is not being blamed and ask her assistance in locating the missing item, letting her know if it is not found, it is not her fault. All bases need to be covered when a personal item goes missing after a session. If I were Rebecca, I would understand Tiffany's need to ask the staff about the missing item and I would do my best to find the item for the client.
